Lead Fishing Tackle Restriction Faces Opposition From Sportfishing Community

Time to get the lead out? It’s already been banned in ammo, and the extraction, production, use, and disposal of lead and its products have caused significant contamination of the Earth’s soils and waters.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed a lead fishing tackle restriction in National Wildlife Refuges, and the sportfishing community is speaking up in opposition.
