Interestingly enough, it almost never happened.  Northland engineers and pro-staff were testing Butterfly Blade™ harnesses in the initial phases of that product when someone broke a blade wing free from the harness.  The result was a different vibration pattern, wider wobble, and a harness that crushed fish the rest of the day.  All of which proves that at Northland Fishing Tackle®, the best reason to release a new bait is that it catches fish, period.

The Wingnut Harness™ single, reverse-cupped blade sports a slight twist, allowing it to both turns, but also push more water.  The blade spins in a more open fashion, less tight than the original Butterfly Blade™, but with a distinct tremble when trolled.  The effect is similar to that of a crankbait, but with far more enticement.
