I love this reel. It being new it is still a little stiff. The drag is very smooth. And when fighting a big fish there is no wobble in the reel, it feels very solid. I have caught a 38 inch redfish on it, there were no problems through the fight.
I was worried about the rod. Most Penn rods are to stiff to cast well. This rod cast very well.
